i have a 500 R2 that im trying to send SMDR to a PC over the LAN. i have everything turned ON but i cant seem to get the data to the PC. i am trying to use hyper terminal but maybe your suppose to use another app? any ideas?

you can get smdr using hyper terminal but you have to turn it on the port thats sends the data is important if i remember right its 5090 but dont hold me to that check with samsun

Port is 5100 tcp. If your programming is correct you must get SMDR header after connection.

thanks guys! all i had to do was change the port to 5100 on hyper terminal from 23. problem solved
