Hello
I have a ddi pointed at a group and sometimes when they go to a meeting they want to send it stright to the group Vm. I could do with finding a way of doing this without changing the ring plan as they have 4 on auto working and if they forget to put it back to auto it's going to cause lots of problems.
Thanks
Scott

Is it a large group? Never tested it, but maybe it would go straight to the voicemail if all the group phones were in DND or IN/out group set to out.
If you are talking more than a few phones maybe that is impractical anyway.

DND has no effect on Ring Groups. Originally posted by Lacota: as they have 4 on auto working Scott, I am not sure what you are saying in the above quote.

If it is a 7000 series or above you could use the SVMI for AA purposes and make the group a UCD and set the final destination as VM and make it go to its own general mailbox or menu anytime they are all logged out or auto logged out. That way it wouldnt matter what the RP is.

I just mean they use the first 4 ring plans for different times of the day, Night, Day ,Aftenoon etc. I don't realy want to give a rto button to the one team incase they forget to change it back to auto and screw up all the phones for the whole company.
I thought about logging them out and sending it final detonation but I think with a ucd group you can't do this as it won't let you log out all extns.

I'm pretty sure you can log all of the phones out of the UCD group. I have an OS100 setup with UCD and they can take everyone out of the group. I have yet to setup UCD on an OS7000 series... so maybe something has changed.

There is a option in programing for the past year or two that allows auto logout and all out to final. I use this all the time to do exactly what you are trying to do. I have one site with 20 UCD groups (7200) and they all log out a different times and go to differnt AA's, Mailboxes and even transfers to external numbers. Good Luck
