I have a customer with a remote user in chicago. She has dsl from at&t with 5m down and 750k up. We are having audio problems and problems with the phone moving slow. She has a motorola 2210-02-1002 with a linksys E1000 behind it. I have put the phone in the DMZ of the linksys and the modem doesn't seem to have a firewall. We are getting one way audio and the phone will disconnect. I kow this has something to do with her modem since I have a ip phone in house that works fine off their system. Has anyone else ran into this? We don't have that type of modem around here.

are you sure they're actually getting 5 down? in my experience at&t's speeds aren't always that stable in home installations.
make sure you have the codec set for your bandwith speed too.
