I have obtained a samsung IDCS 16 case
with a SVMI-2 and option board and TRK 6 card.

I could really use a manual so I can punch it down.
I will be using it at home for playing around.

It powers up I notice a red led by the power connector on the backplane solid at first then flashes red. Normal operation? I dont know again manual would be helpfull.

Also wondering how to determine if the SVMI had been upgraded to 4 ports?

I know various other systems but this is my 1st samsung would like to learn it...

Red flashing red indicates that all is ok.
The SVMi-2 card will have an "i button" on it (looks like a round battery) if its a 4 port.

I don't have an updated manual with the SVMi2 in it, and there may be differences between the AU and US versions (we never called it a iDCS16 here).

sweet I got a 4 port...

Now if I could only find out how to punch it down and program it...
