Does anyone know if the OAS card will work for MGI channels on a 7200 MCP v4.30i? I dont want to upgrade sw since we are going to be networking with a new 7100 via private IP address and it appears that the MCP has some issues doing this with the 4.46d software.

MGI resources on OAS card requires MP20 and 4.4x software and version 2.x OAS Software.

Put a MGI16 in, there is no benefit to using the OAS card unless you have IP handsets and SIP trunks (or SPNET).

We are facing the same issues trying to equip a 7200 MCP for 8 SIP trunks and upgrade to 4.46d; luckily a single site.

The MGI apparently will do SIP, so we won't have to upgrade yet another MCP to an MP20.

As for using an MGI vs the OAS, which we are forced to do, the cost is significantly higher.

I wish more dealers would have pressured Samsung for an MCP to MP20 upgrade program.

Thats interesting.
We only have to use the OAS on the OS7200s, and the MGI16 is only slightly more expensive then the OAS card...

Nameless - the MGI is 2x more expensive, approximately.
