Ok, I am trying to spend some money before the end of the year.

I am debating between these 3 testers,


Bytebrothers RWC1000 (about $500)
Test-Um700 (about $250)
Test-Um950 (about $900)

I am not really trying to compare the 700 and the 950.

What I am trying to determine is whether the 700 is a far beter value than the rwc1000 or the rwc1000 is a far better value than the 950 for half the price.

Personally we went with the full out Agilent Wirescope 350, most companies that we deal with want printable results. The test-ums do not have that capability. We do own a test um optical light source that was $350 and it works great.

I have the test-um 700 and want to get the 950. I test alot of data wirring and would like to test active circuits.

They all have some good products, but for the price Test-um blows themaway.

Definitely Wirescope wire and fiber. The printable for the customer --- give them a disc. There is a lot of Gov't work around here and they want that.
