My SVMi-20E card randomly stops working. You can't access it.
I looked at the thread:

it mentioned the EPLD Version. Mine is version 04 like it says is the problem. How do you update this? Will updating the normal card software change this?

You will have to send the card back to samsung tech support for them to upgrade.
Updating the software on the SVMi (eg to 5.03) won't change this.
Its the MP20 card that needs a CPLD upgrade not the SVMi.
