While testing the SMT i3100 level IP phone on our "trusty" OS 7100 we found the MOH volume (On-hook, hit the Hold Key) starts out normal and then gets increasingly louder until its blasting away! No other keysets display this problem. Any ideas ?

What firmware level on the handset and system?
MP10 or MP10a?
Local or remote phone?

That's old software, we have 1.30 down here, didn't see that fixed in the release notes, but i don't think we ever had 1.09 for those handsets
Try firmware upgrade on the phone.
I will test this on our 7400 and 7100 when im next in the office and see if we have this issue
