Hi all, we are trying to manage an OAS card on a OS7200 but we're not able to make it work. We tested both with v4.42b and 4.46a and OAS v2.0 and v2.01. The SPnet licence is enabled and we configured the OAS card in MMCs 831 and 858 so we could use 16 MGI channels, nevertheless the phone system returns the "no MGI channels available" message when we dial a SPnet trunk number. Is there anyrthing else we are missing? We also tried to use a MGI16 in this machine, but the MGI card doesn't end the boot sequence. the 4.42b release indicates that MGI 16 on v1.26 shound work on MP20.
Thanks in advance.

Be sure to put trunk numbers on the card and add them to the correct MGI group.

Just verifying that your 7200 has an MP20 and not an MCP processor.
The MCP is sure a boat anchor at this point.

My PBX has a MP20 and not MCP. The SPnet trunks are numbered and also the MGI channels and they are on the right trunk group.

Have you enbled some MGI channels on the OAS card? As by default on the OS7200 its set to 32 mobex channels only.
Also what slot in what cabinet do you have the card installed into?
As it should be in slots 3-5 (bottom row) on main cab, and slot 3 (beneath LCP) on exp cabinet. Otherwise you need to leave the slot next to it empty as the ports are used (just like the PRI on the DCS systems)

the OAS card is on slot 3, the firts on the bottom row. As I told I change the MMc 858 to have 16 MGI channels.

I've been caught out by this a few times.
If you add a MGI/OAS card after the inital system boot this MMC won't be filled in and will have to be done manually after assigning numbers in Dial Number Plan
