Does the system have a voicemail?

Not even remotely possible. Somewhere hard written into the system, DPIM's are not allowed access to trunks under any circumstance.
I had a customer who simply wanted a door phone to call external for emergencies, we tried every combination possible; forward to virtual, then to another virtual then to a mailbox forwarded out, could not trick it no matter what. It appears once the system see's the DPIM is involved in the call it just hangs up... no warning, no error at all.

Yes of course you can do this.

While in phone school in 1984 I was taught that the tech was supposed to figure out how to do something that is not in the "print," the diagram on how to hook up parts on old 1A2 key telephone equipment.

If voicemail, you could dial a single line extension that would give ringing to an analog phone that has a real mechanical bell where an arm strikes a half circle bell.

It is easy enough to put a thin set of contacts in there that touch when ringing and make that close a relay that latches for ten seconds and that closes either a dry contact relay or closes another 12 volt relay which carries the power.

If no voicemail, you can have it ring normally in the day and someone would answer it but have it overflow to a single line port after maybe 20 seconds and do the action above.

You could send that ringing to one of the old line boxes that answered and let you dial 1 for the phone to ring, 2 for the fax port and 3 for the modem, then use a relay.

Perhaps in Argentina you could find what we have here, a device for the hearing impaired that flashes a light when the phone line rings.

You could have an incoming call ring for so many seconds and then overflow to the single line port which has a 110 volt relay attached to it instead of a lamp. That relay can close the door contact or close a time delay relay that gives current to the door for the number of seconds you choose.

I have an Israeli customer with a Norstar system who can unlock the door to his synagogue in LA from anywhere in the world using my custom system.

He calls in and the voicemail answers and he dials an extension attached to an analog terminal adapter and sends ringing to a light flashing box that has a 110 volt relay in the AC socket. That relay triggers a dry contact on a timer relay and opens the synagogue door for ten seconds. All from anywhere in the world that has a phone which can call LA.

Of course he can easily change the extension number and it is always an odd out of range number you would not expect.

This is why the call me "THE Bunnie, old blond specialist in Rube Goldberg solutions."

A Vegas hotel wanted to know how to show on a large screen the room number of the person calling 911 but the display only showed up on a small display screen on one phone.

Just point a video camera with a close up lens at the phone display and there it was on a huge screen.

They pay you for a solution, not to say it can't be done.

I havn't tested this but what if you set one of the contact relays as a common bell with a continuos ring add that relay to a station group, set a single digit in vm to ring that group and hook the door lock to contact relay. I dont have alot of experience with relays, so I dont know if this would work or not.

In theory bmreen's solution should work.
Depends on what the door lock requires to release, whether a dry contact will release or whether it requires voltage

With OS Softphone you can remotely open / close the Gate. Maybe another angle to think about.

Also what about Executive Mobex. Only catch is it has to be a OS7000 with SIP/PRI trunks. I have also never dealt with Exec. mobex but you are suppose to be able to use resources and features from an of-site phone. I dont know if DLOCK would be one of them. But if you had your statin paired to a mobex port when you station rang it would call out to your mobex station. Just another possibility.

In theory the Exec Mobex / OS connect should work - don't see why it wouldn't.
