Customer has OS7400 with PRI. I have line 1 and line 2 to display name but number comes thru on both lines. Ive tried other variations but name never appears. CID review does not show name as well. Phone company says all OK on thier side. Anyone seen this before? Thanks.

Make sure with the phone company they are running NI2 protocal. And I would ask what they have it set to so they have to look and not go along with what you mention.

If running 4.46d, make sure in the proper MMC that the first two boxes are set correctly. Number and then name, not Number and Number.

I've never seen the CID review show the name, only the CLIP, and it doesn't seem to work when you have CLI name displayed in MMC119

Bmreen you nailed it. I had a vendor meet today with the Broadview tech. It turns out protocol was DMS from the telco. Once they changed it to NI2 CID name came through. Thanks all for the input.

As I understand the ETSI specification used in the UK and Australia, the Directory name associated with the ISDN phone number is not passed to the subscriber. Only the number is available.
Interestingly enough the number can also only be assigned to the registered "owner" of the number, so it is not possible in the basic ETSI specification to send a third party number to the network as if it were your number. So in the "call forward" senario, it is not possible to send the CLI of the original caller out when that call is forwarded.
Some networks do allow this by the use of the optional ETSI Supplemenatary services features.

For CID in OS7400 you should install CRM or RCM2 Board.

CRM/RCM2 is only required for CLI on PSTN trunks. Since this is ISDN its not applicable
