Hello,

Using Exchange 2007, and getting the following message

" SMTP Authentication Failed with Server 192.168.1.10:25, LOGIN not supported"

Under System Parameters and MClass (Did Both) I have entered the following

Host ID: 192.168.1.10
Port: 25
SMTP User ID: [email protected]
Password: xxxxx
Domain: domain

And I keep getting the message tried changing domain to domain.com and still the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The SMTP user id for exchange is the username not the email address, ie. johnh not [email protected].

Thanks, I tried that still the same message.

I think it has something to do with Exchange Hub Transport setting a Open Relay in Exchange for non-client email?

Again thanks for the idea, any others keep them coming smile

There is a setting in the Exchange 2007 SMTP connector about requiring TLS (encryption) for authentication, untick this box and it will work.

Thanks, I unchecked the box, still no luck.

Should any of the boxes be checked, I left them all unchecked?

Thanks again for your time and help.

Thanks for the help, unchecked the TLS, checked the Basic Authentication Box and it worked.

Note for future users the Reply to address in the "System Parameters Block", and the "From" block in the "Mclass Block" have to be the same address.
