When I try to move the cursor to the first octet via soft keys, I get no response. I get no response with soft keys while in MMC 830. Soft keys on this telephone set work fine when in other MMC's like 815. I have reset the system. Any thoughts.

If this is a iDCS100 R2 around 2.60 firmware then you will need to default re-upload.
I've had this issue on a few MCP cards, don't know what causes it either

Enter an IP as 192.168.001.011, not 192.168.1.11

This is a known firmware bug. You need to upgrade the firmware to at least 2.75b.
