Customer has OS500 with a few remote IP phones and have been in service for a few years now. A couple of the IP phone users are complaining about intermiitent garbled audio with some calls and intermittent IP phone disconnect with reconnection after a few seconds. One of the users had Comcast and Switched to FIOS but problem persisted. Where would I start?

Check the transportation channel - delays, loses, bandwidth. Try to implement QoS levels if it is possible. Try to change voice codec.. VoiP it is not just PBX and VoiP-phones it is also a strong project work over network architecture and traffic planning ….
