In the Latest OS7100 release:
An outside caller is transferred by the 7100 system to the voicemail box on an un-answered system hold recall

>In other words ext 205 puts a call on hold, makes an external page for the warehouse to pickup, but they don’t and extension 205 walk’s away from his desk. The line recalls back to 205 then “times out” (hold recall) and go to his/hers voicemail box.
This happens with all extensions.

What do you guys do to stop this from happening?

I have hold recall to operator “off “ in MMC 300 but don’t want the call going to extension 201 mailbox either.

Thanks in advance.

I know what you mean. There is not a way to stop this from happening that I'm aware of.

I up the recall timer to the maximum. No complaints yet.

You can also make sure that MMC 316 PFNA is set to none

You can make this happen. Adjust the att recall timer from 30 seconds (default) to 14 seconds. As long as this timer is lower than the No Answer timer of the extension, it will overflow to the operator group after it has recalled the extension that placed it on hold. Just make sure you have members in whatever your operator group is.
