i have a 7200 v4.46d with IP phones working inside the network that work fine. NOw i need to set up phone outside of there network with NO vpn. So i have a remote IP phone that comes up but no audio at all. now with this software there is no setting in 840 to set to "public". so is there a new MMC with this setting or is there different ports to be opened on remote IP phones? thanks

4.46d has removed the manual setting of public/private for IP Phones.
It now assumes that if the systme is configured with a public ip address and the phone is not within the same subnet as the MP card that it must use the public ip to get there.
You don't need to open anything on the phone side, but the usual MGI/MPS UDP ranges to the MGI/OAS card are required.
