Anyone used a clear one chat 50 or 150 Looks like it helps a desk phone i.e. SMT 5xxx series become a conference phone via the headset jack. My requirement is trying to get better speaker and microphone into a SMTi5243 used as a video station at a gate. The phone is in an enclosure hence there are some microphone audio issues for the person at the internal extensions. https://www.clearone.com/Personal_Conferencing.html

To be fair the best bet is to use a video door entry unit.
Samsung are shortly going to release one in the UK that will send the video to a SMT'5243 phone in the office.
Thsi would be a waterproof, purpose built unit that should give you superior audio quality.
I suspect it's due to be lauched with v4.6x software but i'm not 100% of that.....

Anymore details about the Samsung video door units?
This installation has been in service for 9 months as we did not have a whole lot of choice at the time... It was either SIP where I didn't know if I could make video work in the way We needed it to or adapt the 5243s the devil you know...
The 5243's in the enclosures work pretty well with exception of the handsfree mic levels. So I though the clear chat may be a way to fix that one at least in the short term.
