I can connect to a phone system using the device manager on my pc, but I am trying to figure out how to connect to the emmbedded device manager thru internet exployer example https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/dm on a private network, all I get is page can not be displayed.

You don't need the /dm as the end.

I'm still using Installation Tool. Cannot connect with Device Manager either.
Samsung Product bulletin touts Device Manager as easy to use and never have to worry about software compatability.
Let's see. Embedded on some systems, not embedded on others, Have to go and change IE settings, May not work with IE 9, Have to change settings in internet options.

Dm is just a java IT Tool from what i can see, managed to get it working on a OS7400, had to manually put the path to the jnlp file into the address bar though
