Hi all,
SVMi20 has the option to enable fax mail in mailboxes so that you can receive faxes as a tiff attached files over email gateway. We use this feature often with no issues.
We tried to the same with the MP20s integrated SVM but there's no way to do it. The mailbox treats the fax as if it was a voice call and sends a wav file attached instead of the tiff one.
We can see in the activity log that the SVM is detecting the fax and is transferring the call to the mailbox correctly.
The option "Mailbox can receive faxes" is not available on the integrated SVM.

Is this feature available to integrated SVM?

Not supported on 7300/7100/7200S embedded VM

Need either 7200 or 7400 with svmi20 or IPUMS don’t know about the older cards for OS 500 etc.

There are plenty of cheap hosted fax services available that give you a phone number and email to you as PDF

We were very happy with Silentfax server off a 7200S.
