I just installed a new 7100 V4.53c. After much headache, my tech support finally discovered a post indicating the this version cannot be programmed via web interface. I must use OSDM for the VM.

My customer wants to have access to all call log info on his desktop. (4 trunks, 8 in house phones, calls transferred/conferenced to 4 cell phones from A/A) My cost for OS Dataview is $1000! I just read another post stating that this can easily be accomplished "with a 3rd party CDR solution. It just listen 5100 port of PBX via TCP."

I'd love to get more info on this. Thanks for any suggestions.

I program VM via web on OS7000 4.53c all the time.

Samsung here are telling me that korea have said not to use OSDM for the embedded VM at this stage, and to wait for 4.6 which is due at end of the year...

When trying to program VM the IE web browser page would lock-up and show only partial info. All the programming was successful with OSDM.

Google Chrome creates known issues with the web broser. Other than that i've had no issues. As above OSDM not on general release.

OSDM is 10x faster than the web management. We are on our second version right now. There is a known issue with 4.53c in the states here. It only works about 20% of the time sometimes if you try it right after a restart it lets you in but most the time you get an web page error.
