you need to be on same network as your broadband and open ports 5003 and 5090 tcp on your router and for a 7400 you would use it tool

You can also upgrade to latest software and use DEvice Manager - currently not released in the UK until v4.60 software.
If push come to shove you could always RDP onto a PC on site and use IT tool "locally" across the network

Gerrya has the right idea. Allow TCP port 5090 through the firewall and send it on to the MP20 IP address. If you need remote access to the voice mail allow TCP port 23 through and send it to the SVMi20 ip address. In IT Tool type the public ip address and in hyperterminal. TCP 5003 is only needed if you want to do file management on the 7400.
The other option for sites that are very restricted use a remote desktop control software like: logmein.com teamviewer.com to remotely control a PC with IT Tool and hyperterminal installed.
