I am using a samsung pro star dcs compact phone system and it got reset. I am having an issue cause now we have to dial 9 to get a call out. does anyone know how we can change it back to where we dont have to dial a 9 for an outside line? Appreciate any assistance.

dont know samsung pro star only way i know is either off hook dialing or by lcr think its best for you to get your samsung engineer to sort it out for you seems you lost some programming

The memory backup sounds like its failed so if you get it sorted any time you loose power you will need to reprogram the kit.
Get the kit repaired but if it like the DCS compact over here then its long overdue a replacement.

You can solder in a new NiMh battery in the RAM cartridge, the old NiCd battery is probably dead.
You can program line keys DT701, DT702, DT703, etc. as buttons on the phone if you wish in program MMC 723 or on individual phones on MMC 722.
