OK, so I don't know much about SIP, I just know I need to hook up an ata at a job site for some simple calling. I put in a PAP2T and it logs in to the OS7200 across the VBPN and all that and I can get sound and make internal calls. DID calls to the line work.

However, when I dail 9, it ignores me. I don't know what to do. This line will be just for making outside calls, so I though I could go into 306 and set a timer to dial 9, but the SIP stations on the PAP2T-NA don't show up in the list there.

Any ideas? Do I need to reprogram the dial plan in the PAP2? That's not something I would be easily be able to figure out. I'm mainly an IT guy, and I only do Samsungs for certain customers that require it as part of the deal. So I'm not to savvy on this aspect.

Have you tried putting a buttset in the PAP2T to see if you get dial tone?

That would be your first test. If you don't get it there, the Samsung would not have it either.

I get dial tone. I can make internal calls and receive DID. It just ignores it when I dial 9 for an outside trunk.

Do you know how to put a trunk in MMC 603?

I don't know what other trunks you might have in the 7200.

You might have to put that trunk in group 801 and dial 801 if you have a PRI or something.

You will need to adjust your dial plans on the PAP2T so that it sends the digits to the samsung straight away rather then waiting for the End of Digit timer to expire
