Has anyone ever connected a OS7000 range pabx onto a FETEX-150 public exchange DID platform successfully? I am having a serious problem where the TEPRI card L2 LED remains OFF while the SYNC and AIS have gone OFF. This to me means there is no loss on the link and the card can see its a PRI feed, when I try to pick up a trunk I get dial tone(PABX TONE) and during dialling I get TRUNKS OUT OF ORDER msg. What does an L2 alarm really signify. The PRI is connected via a fibre optic link through RAD OPTIMUX 108 optiplexers.

heads up

The L2 light indicates whether you have layer 2 up or not.

In your case its not up, which means you won't be able to get a line out.

Talk to your network provider, there is an issue.
Are you seeing any yellow/blue or red alarms in the logs?
