I have Comdial InnTouch and Comdial Eloquence VE working togeter for a motel. When a caller hangs up during the Eloquence's announcement, the system rings back to the office phone again and again (FOREVER until someone picks up the phone and hangs up). The same problem happens when a room phone is busy or not answered. We do not want our system to ring back to the office at any time unless the caller choose the extension to the office. Does anybody know how to stop this system ringing back to the office? Thanks a bunch!

Sounds almost like the CO disconnect signal is missing or the timing got changed either on the CO end or in the switch. Did you change dial-tone providers?
Check your disconnect timers and verify you have disconnect signalling from the CO.

How/where can I find the CO disconnect signal or disconnect timers? I don't think I changed dial-tone providers (I don't know what it means). Thank you very much!

Hi, You need to get a tech who knows Comdial. You will not be able to fix yourself. Who is the dealer that sold it to you?
