Possibly if you have 2 qsig connections to the nortel, though i don't think it would.

Why do they want todo that?

Qsig is done via the TEPRI card in the samsung.
The master/slave is set via "jumper (also known as shunt pins) on the card, everything else is done in software.

why do you need 2 different node id's?

I will explain my case

i hv huge pbx's network , all pbx's in the network is connecting using Q sig .

In this network i installed OS7200 sucessfully, & it's work using Qsig normally with two pri cards .

The OS700 installed in the center of the network, as a bridge between two Nortel & alcatel.

The mapping of network is:

The Customer want to Divided the OS7200 system to two subsystems :

Subsystem A:

Node ID : 899
Extension number range:201,202,203,...,220

Subsystem B:

Node ID : 890
Extension number range:201,202,203,...,220

In this case, I have two possibilities:

1) when any employee (eg, 201) want to call another extension in the
same Subsytem, just he will Left handset & dial the number of extension (eg, 210) .

2) if extension in subsystem A(201) want to call extension in Sub system B (210)

The employee 201 in Subsystem A Left handset
& dial( 890 210) to call extension 210 in Subsystem B

My problem how i can do that procedure?

Note that the networking between PBX's through Qsig .

Please if u can help me to solve this issue?

You might find it easier if you made mod extn numbers differnt like mod A use extn numbers 201 etc
and mode B extn numbers 301 etc

I want to re explain my case

a. Os7200 with two tenants, each tenant to be connected to the network
using it's own qsig TEPRI1 card to Receive an incoming call or make
outgoing call.

So the system will be connected to the network using two qsig cards. One
qsig TEPRI1 card for each tenant.

Calls on the private network to go to each tenant using it's own qsig link.

Calls between the two tenants to go using the network and the qsig cards.

The Customer has a large network,he is using nortel system with
configuration mentioned above .

So we are trying to offer samsung Officeserv alternative .

Please if you can help me how i can do that configuration?
