The barge and record are incompatible because both features use the same circuits (conference circuits).

What about barge and conf/trans? Can you barge and have someone else listen or is it the same thing?

You could use barge in and then use a third party device to record the call off your handset, many devices out there.
You MIGHT be able to set the system for non-private lines and have someone pick up the line if you are not on a PRi.
If the person is on a specific line, you could use a Melco or Dees line monitor to barge in and record, just threw away all mine in closing out my storage, didn't sell one for ten years.

Barge in and call record to SVMI using CR key is NOT supported. As SBC says, it's because they use the same conf circuits on the CPU.
You would need to use a 3rd party, external call recorder, typically tapped across the trunks, to record the calls.

OR, you use a call record device on your handset. That would be simple and cheap, but because Samsung has gotten away from the carbon type handsets you might have to use an older style 24 button phone to make the call record device compatible.
