i have a customer who had me build an "on-call" tier setup that isnt working efficiently. basically, call goes to first mailbox (or "tier") -it calls out and if not answered, does a fwd and delete to second "tier" after 15 minutes. this continues thru 10 tiers. two issues - first, sometimes it just plain skips a tier and doesnt notify at all - not sure why. second, if person doesnt retrieve msg before it moves on, they cant seem to understand it is no longer there, it got deleted. this is waaaaay confusing, but it is what they origionally wanted. simple solution is the person on call answers the call and doesnt dodge it, but they dont want to hear that - is there a better/easier way to do this?
thanks SSG Tedford

Take out the delete and just have it auto forward. Will give the person prior a chance to get the message then, if they happened to be on a call or something.
