I have changed the routing of the incoming lines using MMC406 but it doesn't seem to change. Other changes to the system work ok. The incoming lines are ISDN. Is there anything routing these lines to avoid using the data setup by 406? Any help appreciated, I am new to this.

For ISDN you need to program in MMC714 DDI table.

Hi Ian,
That's really helpful, I have been scratching my head all day. Will look tomorrow and let you know how I get on. I am only trying to route incoming calls to a mobile. I have got the analogue line working but have been having trouble with the isdn lines.
Much appreciated Ivan

It also depends on the ISDN2 service - DDI or MSN.

419 should be set to match the service from BT, then entries in 714 for DDI or 421 for MSN. If no matching entry found then dest in 406 is used for MSN, might be operator group for DDI.

I set up 714 and routed all numbers including MSN's to one extension that forwards to the mobile. All is working now so I don't need to rush to the office every morning. Thanks for that.

One other problem is, when routing an incoming analogue line out on an ISDN, when the incoming terminates, both lines are held open for some time. what controls this time?
