I'm not sure how you would take a 7100 apart, but there are spare cabinets out there, I have one but I don't want to take it apart just to answer your question.
There is a 5 year warranty on it, is it 5 years old?
Assuming you could get it apart without destroying it, there are many aftermarket companies like Mouser who have huge catalogs.
All it has to do is move air and it could be a fan that runs 24/7 from an outside plug, not the ksu.
If you are not using the third opening, you could stick a computer fan in front of that but you would still have to get at the noisy fan to shut it down.

I have seen the fan, got a cab with a dead fan which is out of warranty (only 3 years here).
Taking a KSU apart isn't hard, had to replace the PSU in a couple of them, haven't looked at getting the fan out, but i don't imagine its too difficult

Samsung in the UK actually supply a quiet fan as a spare part.
Quite straightforward to replace too.

Noisy fans have been an issue. I don't know why Samsung doesn't address this issue and correct it.
