Hello,
I've been trying to find a way for a customer that uses the old dcs 816 with MSN numbers ( 4 ISDN trunks) to have the caller identification number of their choice. Before I try at the customer site the trunk co tel number configuration I though I should ask you if this would have any result or there is any other option? Another thought was to use the allow caller ID and there to find a way to define the outgoing caller number. There is no option in the BRI options for a CLI table and there is no command for calling party number. Any suggestions or advice?
Thank you!

The only thing you can do on an 816 is send your DDI number not sure if it will work with MSN usually it would have to be system access point-point ISDN

Hello,
If I change the order of trunk members for the dafault group 9 would that be effective? My problem is that when the customer calls the fax number is always displayed as the outgoing CLI. I thought also of programming a DT key but the customer does not want this.
Any suggestions please?

Thank you!

Ask the carrier to set the CLI to be fixed as the main number on the lines. This should fix the issue.

But if different trunks show different numbers then changing the order will help.
