I have hundreds of DCS Phones installed. With only one Client who hates the speakerphone.
It is an older DCS but upgraded for SVMI so it should handle iDCS 18d phones. I figured the newer design and electroincs might "sound" better to the client.
Then I remembered something about an add-on module.
I am able to get those from a few places, still under $100. I don't see ANY solutions to the Mic's. Has anyone sourced them recently?
BUT, my question is: I know the 18d is backward compatible, but will the speakerphone module work on the DCS KSU? Is there only one module? KDBF, to worry about

The 18d phones work just fine on a DCS. The digital duplex daughterboard applies to the phone not to the ksu software so it should be fine.
Opinions differ, I like the voice on the 24 buttons better, but you get the duplex on the 18 with the duplex daughterboard.
Also, put the phone on a sound absorbing pad, it WILL be better than a hard desk.
