OfficeServ 7100, 4.46 software.New Station card added and seems to be working, Co-worker changed some numbering around, and this messed the DS keys on everyones phones. Co-worker re-programs keys and leaves. Next day customer says when DS key for x100 is pressed x116 rings. Sure enough key 8 has 116 instead 0f x100. I change them all back to 100, system seems to accept the changes, but if you leave that programming block, and come back, magically x116 reappears where 100 should be on key 8? Huh? Any help would be appreciated.

You'll find that in MMC723 (default key programming) that k8 is 116.

For some reason some phones keep going to default programming, i have never figured out why, i just replace the handset

Nameless,

The default key is set to 100.

I tried changing the key assisgnments in MMC 722, but they would not change. I called Samsung and they told me that the phone was the best way to program the system, if that is the case why release the IT Tool and the DM Tool? They also said that the DM tool did not support 4.46 version of software.

I eventually got it fixed, but I had to go to each phone to do it, I wonder if my dstabase is corrupt, any body else see this?

Samsung released Software version 4.60. Installation tool is not supported as of version 4.60. Your database may be corrupted, and i've heard some tech support reps say the same thing about using the phone rather than IT. Actually they told me last year to just convert to OSDM because IT was on it's way out.

I would upgrade to 4.60 and get the new OSDM. Back the database up using OSDM and default the system. Then upload the database usning the new OSDM. They've actually had me do this through support before. They said that running the database through OSDM can clear some corrupted databases. If that doesn't work I'd default again and upload everything EXCEPT MMC 722 and 723. Then just program those 2 in OSDM yourself.
