Hi Guys - Today I went to a site to replace an MCP with an MCP2 to enable remote programming for a customer who is some distance away. When I installed the MCP2 everything came up and I programmed the system through a keyset. However, when I tried making a call through the PRI it said "Co Hang Up" and disconnected. Calls were coming into the business though. I replaced the TEPRI card with a TERPIa and same thing. Replaced MCP2 with another one - same thing still. When I replaced the MCP2 and the TEPRIa with the original MCP and TEPRI everything was working again. Any thoughts as to what I can do?

Are you sure you have the switches on MCP2 correct?

Well, I put those switches exactly where the (working) MCP switches were. Switch #1 (on) Switches 2-8 (off). Not sure if they should be different or not from the working MCP. I guess I am assuming that they should be the same....but we all know about "assuming", lol.

99.99% sure they should be the same. Do you have access to Samsung tech support? If not, I have a great distributor who maybe could help you.

Hey Bunnie - I do have access to someone and he told me to look into MMC 321 because he didn't think the station was sending a valid BTN and the carrier is rejecting the call. Maybe you could PM me and let me speak to your guy as well? I would like to get this resolved and in this busy dealership I keep having to knock the system down to change MCP's, PRI's etc....Thank you very much for helping me out!

By the way....the tech support that I use is from a distributor and not directly with Samsung. He is pretty good though. However, I would definitely like to get a second opinion before I go through this procedure again. Thanks!

Make sure you have dip switches on the TEPRI set to 1=on 2=on 3=off 4=off 5=off 6=off 7=off 8=on
or TEPRIa
1=on 2-on 3=off 4=off

PM sent recommending the people I think are the best distributors Samsung has. No offense to others, but their tech support is just 1000% and that means EVERYTHING when you are stuck.

Thank you so much guys! I really appreciate the responses and I will definitely follow up on both of your advice.
When all is said and done I will fill you in on what works for me (hopefully something will work!).
