I programmed a "outbound follow me" sequence on a DCS/Telekol-TVM VM, where an incoming CO caller can dial an extension(VMB), and the VMB grabs a CO trunk, and dials a cell phone. All works, but neither the incoming CO nor outbound CO trunks release when either party hangs up. I set up VMB as unsupervised transfer to TVM should be out of the loop,or at least I think they should be. BTW, the TVM works when CO calls are received thru the VM normally, hanging up when caller hang up occurs. Thanks for any help or ideas...

This sounds like a classic case of the service provider not sending loop supervision disconnect signaling.
-Is the system using standard loop-start lines?
-Has the customer recently switched to a competitive service provider, such as a cable TV company or CLEC?
-Have you verified that a true open-loop disconnect signal is being sent on all lines connected to the system upon an abandoned call?
-Are you sure that it really disconnects on its own without any user intervention when you say that "CO calls are received through the VM normally"?

Viking makes a device that will provide disconnect for one or four lines (model specific). If you cannot get the telco to provide proper disconnect.

Checked with provider.... all lines are set to send disconnect, but they are going to test and verify... Normal CO calls do appear to disconnect normally. No service changes recently. Standard loop start lines, yes.
Thanks, and will advise findings of provider (Centurylink)
