I have a Samsung OS7200S with PRI. I have created virtual extensions (3501-3510)for outside sales staff. The goal is to have the unaswered calls be left in the cell phone users mailbox but I have not been successful in my attempt thus far ,calls are completed when the user answers but the unanswered calls return to the system , any suggestions would be very helpful.

I would suggest to try to lengthen your Preset Forward / No Answer Forward time from 15 to 28.

I did lengthen the preset forward time from 15 to 30 and the call returns to the AA greeting as I am testing during the after hours menu.

Play with your supervision levels in voicemail.

Think there are three settings Full, Partial or none.

Maybe im reading it wrong but do you have mailboxs for these extns if not will go to aa greetings or during day time if you dont have aa to operator

I have no mailboxes created for these extensions. I did have mailbox association and everything was working fine but outside sales staff did not want to check multiple mailboxes. What about extending the trf recall timer?

Why aren't you using the Mobex function?

I would create a mobex extension for the outside folks (remember in mmc 724 to number every other one). You can have basically unlimited mobex, and you get (1) freebie executive mobex license
as a teaser. Exceutive mobex allows the cell phone user to transfer a call back to their office as if they were in the same building.

You want to check that you have iSDN prog conn set to on. If these mobex ext are linked to real phones, give those phones a mobex key so they can turn the feature on/off at their whim.
