Hello again everyone,

I'm a bit confused about the Day 1, Day 2, and Night Mode configurations provided through VMMI.

First off, what defines what is "Day 1" "Day 2" and "Day 3"?

I would assume that "Night Mode" would always apply during that timeframe...in other words...so long as the night mode button is not pressed, it will apply Night Mode through the system.

Ideally, this is what I would like to accomplish:
M-Thurs I would like to set our main group of numbers to ring in @ 8:30AM to the Operator (to be picked up by a "live" person. This should end at 4:35PM (16:35). At that point until the next day, I would like the "auto-attendant" (VM routing box) to pickup. Please note, I have this already setup and it was working...afaik.
On Friday, I would like the phone to ring into the operator line starting at 8:30AM until 6PM (18:00).
On Saturday and Sunday, I want it to go straight to "night mode" and the auto-attendant.

Ultimately I'm not sure what has happened but now, unless I *manually* set today's date to a holiday date, it will ring and ring and ring to the operator hunt group.

So, I would simply like to get this thing setup correctly once and for all. I pulled a backup and compared the data but everything appears identical configuration-wise...unless I'm not looking at right menus (I'm checking the Lines menu for the lines that this should apply to...checking the Enhanced Ringing Options and Enhanced Holiday menus...yet I have set them identical.

I have read through the "F1" help and even have it printed out here in front of me...

So, is there any way to accomplish what I would like to do?

Thanks,

~Ryan

I also figured I should include how it is set up currently:

Direct Ring Screen (set this way on all loop start lines that are part of telco hunt group for our main incoming line):

Enhanced Ringing Options:

The way it is setup now, it only works after 6PM if I set Enhanced Ringing Days to Enabled for today's date (Tuesday) or by setting today as a holiday (which I have set right now...just have to remember to turn it off at 8:30AM).

Here's what I'd like (in a clearer table form):
* Reference: Ext 5000 is VM System & those loop starts are setup to send a special code to go to a Routing Box. Ext 5501 is Operator.
M-Thur: Midnight-8:30AM - Go to Ext 5000
M-Thur: 8:30AM-4:35PM - Go to Ext 5501
M-Thur: 4:35PM-Midnight - Go to Ext 5000

Friday: Midnight-8:30AM - Go to Ext 5000
Friday: 8:30AM-6:05PM - Go to Ext 5501
Friday: 6:05PM-Midnight - Go to Ext 5000

Saturday & Sunday: Midnight-11:59PM - Go to Ext 5000

Finally, I should mention that the location mentioned above is where the lines come in at. There is a separate location where all the "operators" are at. When they set night mode, it seemingly does not affect the "remote/networked" incoming lines. We do not have anyone at the "main" location where the lines come in to press a "night mode" button so automation is a must.

Any help would be *greatly* appreciated.

That is correct, it is a multi-site FXII configuration using FXVOIP-L cards for transport.

I also just realized I made a typo on my original post...I should have said "Day 1" "Day 2" and "Night Mode"...not "Day 3".

Sorry about that.

NOTE: I went over to that remote office, bound a night mode key to a phone, and realized that Night Mode was MANUALLY enabled. I'm not sure how that happened...but needless to say, that side of the question has been resolved. Hope it might help someone else.

However, the other part of the question remains, about "Day 1" "Day 2" and "Night Mode" and if there are any ways to accomplish what I'd like to with our schedule.
