I have a MGI16 with V1.17 on it, and I need to update it. I have V1.27 files but I don't know how to update it.
Please help!

Simply connect it via serial port or via LAN by given ip address in MMC 831,i have done this few month back.There is user name and passward i hope i can find in my papers and sned you soon.

You will need a tftp server on your pc/laptop also.

Is it possible to upgrade bootrom? I have files, but no upgrade instructions. Can I upgrade main software first, or do i have to start with bootrom? I'm trying to upgrade from 1.20 to 1.26.

Ok, I found out that I need chip reader/writer to upgrade Bootrom, then I can proceed with Main Software upgrade as described.

If you didt want to do the upgrade yourself Samsung can send you a new bootrom

I have never had to upgrade a bootrom on a MGI16 card.
What makes you think you need to-do this?
