Update.... I found a duel band repeater that would not only cover 5000 Square feet but was also very inexpensive. https://www.criterioncellular.com/ Specifically this model: https://www.criterioncellular.com/repeaters/dualband-repeater-50.html We've had it running for over a month now with no problems. I did have to order a longer cable to reach our roof as it was 4 floors away but it was still cheaper than anything else I found. Thanks for all the suggestions... I've gotten a very thorough education in repeaters... And no our basement doesn't flood. We have 4, count'em 4 sump pumps and a sub basement in case there is a flood. (3 of the pumps are just back ups) Admittedly it is strange to me but the explanation I got was that it is a lot cheaper to keep the basement cooler than having it upstairs. I guess our Data center was above ground back in the day and the building heated up and made it expensive. Who knows though, this could bite us on the ass one day.

Thanks for posting back Jim. We've had the cell repeater discussion many times on here. Nice to hear some first hand feedback on whether it works or not.

Nextel just had one installed in our corporate office. Haven't had a chance to take a good look at it yet, but it does work well.
