How do I change the number of rings before voice mail picks up. Dx80.

Little elaboration on if day/night service is used and if lines ring off of a hg or just off of the 6 members would probably help.

Sorry 'bot that. Just a plain system, on days it rings 4 times then goes to VM. Customer would like it to ring 6 times. Other shifts it does not matter.

You'll have to see if it's ringing a hunt group or individual phones. My guess would be a hunt group so you'll have to just set the no answer timer and overflow timer higher.

dtcd21 you helped me a couple of months ago with getting another phone to ring. At that time I believe we just added 1 phone without adding a hunt group. So I think its just making the trunks ring longer b4 going to the Auto attendant. I found the no ans timer and overflow, changed them to no avail. Help is appreciated.

did you set them on the co line? ex co 740,741, etc.

Not enough time today to get to this customer, I'll go monday. In the mean time can you give me some direction on what I should be looking for. I have gone thru ring schemes, co ring type and ext ring type, nothing jumps out at me. Any help would be appreciated.
