I have a home-run setup in my house to a 66 punchdown block. Whoever installed it did a pretty good job of labeling the runs. smile

However, there is one run which comes from somewhere and is coiled at the 66 block. It is labeled "Tie to H."

Any guesses?

Stick a tone on it and start checking around with a tracer. How are the rest of cables labeled H could be a few things.

Like Merritt said. The thing that sticks out is the term "Tie to H". Usually "tie" means it is a connection to another distribution point or another feed. "H" = hall? Are your other outlets marked alphabetically or by numbers?

"H" could be "Heliport"
Sorry, just had to do it as I strolled to the gazebo between the tennis court and the swimming pool on the way to the 'copter. :toothy:

Punch it down and lable the block. Maybe you'll find it someday.

Where is the 66 block located? See if you can follow the wire or at least see what direction it is going.
