the manipulation of assumptions.

I've been charging everyone on my block $15 a month for cable tv...kind of like protection, is that not o.k.?
It has turned out to be a very lucrative business allowing me to recently hire 4 thugs to hang out around the block and threaten to shake the cable guys ladder if he dares climb any poles.
I figured if I could get a multi-million dollar resort to fork over $15 a month for 20+ cabins I could spend alot more time chatting with you fine gentlemen and less time actually working.
As I used to say when I was in human resources, "If I can just make ONE of you go home and take your anger out on your spouse, children, and or pets... my job here is done."

Personally, I thought it was funny. If it struck a nerve, then sorry 'bout your luck.

Use your ignore button for him and me if you want. Giving your opinion and then arguing with someone who disagrees is not a bad thing. Telling someone he's making a problem for himself is.

Well, this topic appears to have digressed into the absurd. It died several days ago and I don't know what more can be said but baiting will not be tolerated. Keep all your comments on topic or this thread will be closed.

Ohh how shall I put this?? It's saturday 11:30 pm and I have some time to reply so I will.
I should refer you to a previous 'thread' in which Ed made a point that I should be more specific and be careful what I type.
I neglected to take this thread serious after I was "baited" by hal in his first reply.
First things first, I NEVER INTENDED TO STEAL CABLE TV FOR A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR RESORT!(if any1 would get free cable it's gonna be me, but I pay my bills)
My only intention was to install cable(rg6,hardline)(NO HARDWARE!) while we had the ground ripped up, for our other cables.
By the time I got back here to view Ed's first reply(thanks ed) steps had been taken to ensure things got done right!!
As for my last smartass reply I couldn't help it after hal's assumptions that I was gonna get rich off this deal. I'm sure we will be rich for the rg-6 we sold our customer at a point and a half, for his groundskeeping crew to lay in the ground.
I'm a sarcastic <profanity removed> and only ask hal that he doesn't use his almighty admin powers to close this thread, as I may like to open one in the phonebooth about "baiting"... I'm just curious if I'm the only one that thought hal's first reply was ALSO BAITING?
As for insults and compairing our resumes... that's just boring.
