I buy most of my cabling from a local supply house called Rexell. It's made by honeywell and i've never really had much of a problem with it. Forget what honeywell brand's it as. For some reason I want to say spectre, but not sure. Have to go dig up a box of it.
But I ran across BlackBox.com and they seem to sell the cabling cheaper (even after shipping). The 25-pair Cat3 is around 10-15 cents cheaper per foot. Has anyone used their cabling before? Hate to order it and find out it's crap.

Last fall, my customer found Cat 5e/350 PVC in 1100' boxes for less than what I pay wholesale for 1000' boxes and shipping was included. We bought 15K feet of the stuff and it was wonderful!
I have not ordered since, I guess because I usually just add it to my regular parts order from 90 miles away.

We've been using it for the last 6 months or more. I don't have any complaints, so far.

I can't speak for the cable, but their service is excellent. If you have a question you can enter your name and phone number on their web site. They guarantee a call back within 20 seconds. Now THAT'S service.

It's just cheap offshore stuff. For 5E it should be okay, but I wouldn't use it for CAT-6/6A.

As a BB sub for better that 10 years, we've installed many thousands of feet. Was and still is a good product. We also had a possible recall of their 25 pair 5e backbone. This was Hitachi made and relabeled for BB and was well over a year after it was installed. A company that stands by their product!
