Will a small office lite VM work on a DSU with 16A software? When I go into programming, the Visual Voicemail Support option is not available under System Features. My manuals are for 18A and later. Haven't been able to find a manual specifically about 16A.

Support for visual voice mail came in at 19A. The software you have is the recommended minimum rev level. 16B added DTMF A. Positive disconnect for voicemail was added in earlier revs.

Thanks. What isn't making sense is that the VM recognizes when I unplug and plug in the digital ports from the DSU, but the DSU does not recognize the VM. This customer moved into this building and the previous occupant left the DSU, VM and a DSU II behind. The DSU II is laying on the floor with the cover and fuse gone. Think I know why it was all left behind!

You can hook it up without serial intergration and should work I think. It has been a long time since a played with 16 version software. An upgrade to 20A would not be that much
