Hello Folks,

I know this has been posted here before, but can anyone please list the "standard" colors for backboards.

I think it is green for CO lines
Blue for station cable
and so on.

Thanks,

This information is from www.solonics.com . I'm sure it can also be found elsewhere, but this seems to be accurate, from what I've learned thru the years.

The color code is an industry standard method for identification:

Blue boards are for the cables that go to the customer station.

Green boards are cables toward the central office.

Red boards are the cables to the key telephone equipment.

Purple boards are for the cables to the PBX.

Yellow boards are for the cables to the special service equipment.

White boards are for routing cross-connect wire management.
