what is the difference between balden Series 6 CATVP and the regular RG6 that u purchase at your local homedepot or lowes store i'm trying to figure out which one to use in my hose i have a main i want to run about 80ft to my TV

CATVP is a plenum listed cable. You don't need that in your house and it should be very expensive.

hey hbiss what u trying to say i shouldn't have expensive stuff in my house? my problem is i have a 1/2" conduit that i have the RG59 in and 2 cat 5e it's very tight and i need a wiggle room i was wondering if i could use the 9119p balden Series 6 CATVP it's smaller than the rg59

I think what he is trying to say is you do not need plenum rated cable in your house. if you want to spend the extra cash by all means go ahead and waste the money.

i think everyone miss understand me at no time did i mention money or use the word buy my reply to hbiss was just a joke don't take it personal anthoney even after i state my problem u still comparing money. because of the business i work in those item is purchase by the reel 1000ft all i need is simple 40ft but before i ask and get it i just want to know if it will work i hope this clear everything up

Wow,  sonuds like your the one taken this personal. Your a little touchy in the money department. No one is saying you can't afford it, or that you don't deserve expensive stuff in your "Hose", they are just telling you that in the enviroment you are using it, you do not need it. With that said, by all means, if you need the smaller cable to fit in your conduit, then use it. The only difference is that it is Plenum rated. It will work fine, as long as you use the correct connectors for plenum rated cable. Since the cable is smaller, hence so are the connectors.

u never know the use of something until u need it we throw away so much of these as scrp 10ft, 20ft, 30,ft now i can't find not even 1ft
