Getting ready to start a six floor hotel project.
Each floor has 29 Data and 58 Voice cables.
Wondering if anyone has used the erico 100cm double j-hook hangers, and what your opinion was? Looks alot cheaper then double cat 32's.

Thanks
Troy

Are yo urefering to these :

If so, I've never used em... heck almost always use the CAT32's. They do look cheaper and not as sturdy, but the data sheet reads 50 Cat5e per 100CM on a strut, where as a CAT32 is 80 per.

Anyone else use these 100cm's?

I have used both. In reality for a hotel you may want to just use a few of these say down the main hallways then downsize to some smaller j hooks as you go. You wouldn't need that much at the end of a hallway. Or if they wanted to have them all the way down the hallway you may as well look at the cost difference between these and cable tray. If you get cable tray in before anyone else you leave yourself a pathway that somebody won't come along and move behind you.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the responses. Will be installing the 200cm products, as the ceilings will be a mixture of drop and sheetrock in the hallways. With a new string added after pulls, this will let me add cables if ever needed. Will let you know how they work out.

An update

The 200cm hangers are a fantastic product. Hallway was 180' per floor, hung these on existing unistrut at 6' intervals using 3/8" threaded rod. Made pulls in groups of 6 rooms at a time, 6 cat 6, and 12 voice. Hangars are very sturdy and didn't give one bit. These only take up 1" of unistrut, beats cable tray all to heck!!

Thanks for the update, Troy! Erico/Caddy does make some neat products and we use several of them. We may have a need for these soon, so I'm glad to know they work well.

Just one comment, if I may...In the future you should keep the spacing between of any J-Hook to 5' or less.
