What's the difference? Depend on the length of the cable?

The length does play part in selection. 50 micron has a higher bandwidth than 62.5. Just be careful if the 2 types are used together, as the insertion loss could be quite high.

Back in the day they tried making multimode in two core sizes. 50 and 62.5 micron. With the technology at the time 62.5 micron worked better and they dropped 50 micron. Now, for 10Gig ethernet, we have OM3 laser optimized 50 micron multimode. If this is for use in your data center where length isn't an issue, then go with OM3.
