I have an old Isotec EZ-1 36 key phone system and am curious if there were any software updates available. The software version I have is from 1987. Mainly wonder if there is any way to change the ring, sounds like a horn blowing.

That system has been discontinued for over 10 years, so there is no kne software available. I do not know the Isoetec line taht well, but try dialing 70 then push any key on the dialpad to change ring tone. Good Luck!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.

There is no way to change the ring and yes a freight train is an accurate description
