I see that Jeff, I was just pointing out that that kind of design is old technology from when things were simpler. Besides, I hate installations with non-standard jacks because if I have to add or change nothing I have will fit. I wind up changing the entire plate or cutting a new one in next to it. Looks like hell.

Hal, the PDF pic and link I posted are : Clarity6 Category 6 Series II® Modules, by Ortronics. Jeff is correct, they are C6/10g.
I agree about the "older design", even though they are new physical jacks. I do the exact same thing ~ replace the entire jack and faceplate. Once again, across the board standards would be nice... the old inserts are not as cosmetically pleasing and only used in CG quoted jobs, from what I've seen.
The worst looking are triples, with one centered jack on top and two side-by-side jacks on the bottom - IMHO.

AMP made that style jack. They are junk IMO. I have had many service calls repairing that style of jack. The circuit boards tend to pull away from the frame, thus making a bad connection. I don't mind the easy service calls though.
